Universitas Bung Hatta Promotes Master of Accounting Program to BPKP West Sumatra, Strengthening Academic–Institutional Collaboration

The Master of Accounting Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Bung Hatta conducted an official visit to the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) of West Sumatra on January 27, 2026. The visit aimed to promote the 2026/2027 enrollment and explore institutional collaboration to be formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This initiative supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

The Universitas Bung Hatta delegation included Vice Rector II Dr. Fivi Anggraini, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA, along with senior lecturers of the Master of Accounting Program. The team was warmly received by Garry Kusuma, S.E., CBDA, QRMP, CHRMP, Subcoordinator of Human Resources at BPKP West Sumatra. The meeting emphasized strengthening professional capacity in public sector financial governance.

Dr. Fivi Anggraini stated that the Master of Accounting Program is open for new students and designed for graduates and practitioners seeking advanced expertise in accounting, research, and professional development. She highlighted Universitas Bung Hatta’s commitment to delivering relevant, high-quality higher education aligned with industry and government needs.

The program offers advanced studies in financial analysis, senior auditing, and strategic management to prepare competitive leaders for both public and private sectors. According to the academic team, this program further expands postgraduate education at Universitas Bung Hatta and reinforces its role in developing highly skilled human resources in economics and business.

During the meeting, BPKP West Sumatra expressed readiness to disseminate information about the program internally and to strengthen cooperation through a formal MoU. Registration for the Master of Accounting Program is currently open through the official Universitas Bung Hatta website.
