Universitas Bung Hatta Guides MAN 2 Students on Choosing the Right University at Expo Campus 2026

Universitas Bung Hatta participated in Expo Campus 2026 organized by alumni of MAN 2 Padang on January 15, 2026. The event provided a platform for Grade XII students to gain direct insights from various higher education institutions. This initiative supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting access to inclusive and informed educational opportunities.

During the session, Indrawadi, S.Pi., Head of AIO Universitas Bung Hatta, delivered a presentation on strategic tips for selecting a university. He emphasized four key considerations: aligning with personal interests and talents, avoiding peer pressure, adjusting to family financial conditions, and thoroughly researching institutions and study programs. He encouraged students to make rational and well-informed decisions for their academic future.

Acting Principal of MAN 2 Padang, Al Anshari, highlighted that the expo was an important momentum for students to explore higher education pathways. According to him, interactive booths allowed students to directly engage with university representatives and alumni. The event also reflects the school’s commitment to guiding students toward achieving their educational aspirations.

The Universitas Bung Hatta delegation included faculty representatives, students, and alumni of MAN 2 Padang who are currently studying at the university. They provided information on academic programs, campus facilities, and career prospects. The activity also aligns with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration between schools, universities, and alumni networks.

Through its participation, Universitas Bung Hatta reaffirmed its commitment to supporting students in making informed higher education choices. The outreach initiative strengthens educational awareness and career planning among prospective university students.
