Universitas Bung Hatta and Universitas Indonesia Strengthen Tri Dharma Collaboration

Universitas Bung Hatta has officially established a strategic partnership with Universitas Indonesia (UI) to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), held at the Central Administration Building, UI Salemba Campus, also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)—through enhanced inter-university collaboration.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Bung Hatta Education Foundation Board of Trustees Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D., UBH Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. Pasymi, S.T., M.T., and UBH Head of Planning and Development Bureau Yusrizal Bakar, S.T., M.T., C.T., IPU. Representing Universitas Indonesia were the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, Sp.PD-KGEH, MMB, UI Executive Secretariat Director Chudry Sitompul, S.H., M.H., and Director of Partnership Development, Asset Commercialization, and Integrated Campus Area Ir. Winny Hanifiati Warouw, M.M.

The Rector of Universitas Bung Hatta emphasized that the collaboration marks a mutually reinforcing step toward improving the quality of Indonesian higher education. The cooperation encompasses joint research and scientific publications, faculty capacity-building programs, community engagement initiatives involving both institutions, and other strategic academic activities.

Through this partnership, Universitas Bung Hatta and Universitas Indonesia reaffirm their shared commitment to delivering impactful higher education and contributing to sustainable national development.
