To Enhance Awareness of Sound Technology in High-Rise Buildings, the Electrical Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FTI) Partners with PT. Toa Indonesia

The Student Association of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Bung Hatta, organized a seminar titled “Sound System Education in Multi-Storey Buildings”, featuring guest speakers from the leading sound system company PT. Toa Indonesia. The event took place at Campus 3 of Universitas Bung Hatta, Gunung Pangilun, Padang, on Tuesday, November 15, 2024.

The seminar, organized by the Electrical Engineering Student Association (Hima Teknik Elektro), was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Reni Desmiarti, S.T., M.T., and was also attended by the Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Ir. Yani Ridal, S.T., M.T.. The speakers from PT. Toa Indonesia included Muhamad Simon H., Jolly, Heru Susanto, Eddy Pramata, and Selfiet Santoso.

In her opening remarks, Prof. Reni Desmiarti stated that the seminar series titled “Sound System Education in Multi-Storey Buildings” aims to enhance students’ knowledge about proper sound system design and concepts to ensure auditory comfort for human listeners.

She expressed her appreciation and gratitude to PT. Toa Indonesia for visiting the Faculty of Industrial Technology at Universitas Bung Hatta and hoped that the seminar would further enrich students’ understanding of sound system technology. She also expressed optimism that the collaboration would foster continued synergy leading to future innovations in sound technology.
