The Faculty of Economics and Business held a PKM at Muhammadiyah 2 High School Padang

In the context of implementing the Tridharma of higher education, structural leaders together with students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Bung Hatta University, conducted Community Service (PKM) activities by visiting Muhammadiyah 2 Padang High School on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

The PKM activity, themed 'Successful Learning in Higher Education and Realizing Future Aspirations,' proceeded smoothly and in an orderly manner. Participants included students from grades X, XI, and XII of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Padang. The PKM team delivered the material in an engaging, interactive, and communicative manner and provided students with reading materials.

This activity was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Erni Febrina Harahap, S.E.,M.Si together with the Head of the Development Economics Study Program, Nurul Huda, S.E.,M.Si the Head of the Management Study Program, Lindawati, S.E.,M.Si and the Head of the Accounting Study Program, Neva Novianti, S.E., M.Acc. This activity also involved student representatives from DPM, BEM, and the chairperson of the student association within the Faculty of Economics and Business. The group was warmly welcomed by the principal and teachers of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Padang.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business explained that this activity aimed to motivate students to pursue higher education and to promote the study programs offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business at Bung Hatta University. The team also provided information on admission pathways and the various scholarships available at Bung Hatta University.
