Student Creativity Week (PKM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Bung Hatta: Strengthening the Spirit of Togetherness

The academic community of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Bung Hatta once again enlivened the Student Creativity Week (PKM) held in the parking area of Proklamator Campus II, Bypass Aia Pacah, Padang, on Friday, October 31, 2025.

The event was attended by all members of FKIP, including faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and students from all study programs. A strong sense of togetherness filled the atmosphere as participants enthusiastically joined in a mass fitness exercise — with lecturers and staff dressed in blue and students in green, representing the vibrant identity of FKIP across all departments.

“It’s so much fun! Not only did we get to interact with friends from other study programs, but we also had the chance to express our creativity in sports, dance, English, information technology, and many more activities,” said Yaya, a student of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, reflecting on the positive energy of the event.

Each student had the freedom to choose activities according to their interests, including sports competitions, traditional dance workshops, English Day sessions to enhance communication skills, and a digital zone offering training in technology and creative innovation.

This year’s Student Creativity Week was not merely an entertainment event but a meaningful platform to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, enhance non-academic competencies, and strengthen the sense of unity and belonging within the FKIP community.
