International Community Service Program Collaboration between the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Bung Hatta and Selangor University, Malaysia

The Community Service (PKM) Team of the English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Bung Hatta, once again collaborated with Selangor University (UNISEL), Malaysia, to conduct an International Community Service (PKM) activity at the Universiti Selangor Bestari Jaya Campus from July 9 to 10, 2024.

The International Community Service Program Team from the Faculty of Humanities, Bung Hatta University, consisted of Diana Chitra Hasan, M.Hum., M.Ed., Ph.D. (lecturer of the English Department and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities), Dr. Yusrita Yanti, M.Hum. (Lecturer of the English Department and Head of the Language Center) and Temmy Thamrin, M.Hum., Ph.D. (Lecturer of the English Department and Head of Cooperation at Bung Hatta University) raised the theme "Strengthening Indonesia-Malaysia Relationships Through Cross-Cultural Understanding." The event was attended by 130 students from the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences at Unisel.

The Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences of Universitas Bung Hatta stated that the Faculty of Cultural Sciences is once again holding overseas activities to provide global experiences to students in the English Literature Study Program. The program, titled "Student Mobility Abroad," was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit much of the world several years ago.

Diana Ph.D mentioned that "This year, we are holding this activity again, and it has been running well and successfully. We hope it will continue and grow".
