FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta Establishes Collaboration with Two International Partner Institutions

The Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Bung Hatta, together with the Head of the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, the Head of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, and representatives from the FKIP Student Executive Board, attended the Leadership Journey: Kepemimpinan Karamah Menuju Guru Madani forum on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

The event took place at the 4th Floor Auditorium of the Faculty of Education (FIP), Universitas Negeri Padang, and was a collaborative initiative among FIP Universitas Negeri Padang, FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta, and the Institute of Teacher Education Malaysia, Sultan Mizan Campus.

In her remarks, the Dean of FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta, Dr. Yetty Morelent, M.Hum., expressed her hope that this collaboration would strengthen academic and student networking between FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta and students from various universities in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Furthermore, the Chairperson of the FKIP Student Executive Board, Batahan Harahap, along with his team, also participated and delivered an oration. In his address, he emphasized that ideal leadership must be grounded in both emotional and intellectual maturity.

“With such foundations, an ideal leader will serve as a role model for their members and be capable of realizing outstanding programs,” he stated.
