Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning UBH Socializes Internship Program to HAWK Hildesheim, Germany

On Thursday, December 19, 2024, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) of Universitas Bung Hatta (UBH) held a socialization session regarding the plan to send students to participate in an international practical work or internship program.

This activity is a follow-up effort to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) that had been agreed upon between FTSP UBH and Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft und Kunst (HAWK) Hildesheim, Germany, as well as several universities in Malaysia, with the primary goal of enhancing student quality and insight. To implement the agreed-upon MoA. To provide new knowledge regarding construction technology innovation. To motivate students to facilitate scientific communication ("Communicating Science") with foreign parties. To encourage students to create new knowledge and conduct research on construction innovation in various countries. To prepare students' mindset for facing global energy challenges.

This activity is expected to raise student awareness of the importance of technological innovation and to introduce Universitas Bung Hatta on the international stage. The socialization took place in the FTSP courtroom at UBH Campus 1, Ulak Karang, and was attended by 26 students from various study programs within FTSP.

The Dean of FTSP, Dr. Ir. Haryani, MTP, explained that this activity is a follow-up to the cooperation agreement signed earlier. The socialization was mentored by FTSP lecturer Dr.Eng. Yulcherlina, S.T, M.T, and was also attended by the Vice Dean, Dr. Al Busyra Fuadi, S.T., M.T, and all Heads of Study Programs within FTSP.
