Bung Hatta University Management Students Present Research Results at the 2023 TICMEA International Conference

Students in the Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Bung Hatta University have once again achieved impressive international recognition. On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, three students successfully presented their research findings at the 2023 International Conference on Management, Economics, and Accounting (TICMEA) hosted by Tanjungpura University. The conference was held online via Zoom and was attended by academics and practitioners from various countries.

The students presenting at the conference were Gita Mai Rani (Class of 2020), Melita Apri Yoma (Class of 2020), and Laras Puji Astuti (Class of 2020). The three presented relevant, up-to-date research in management and economics.

In her presentation, Gita Mai Rani discussed her research, "The Impact of Financial Literacy in Improving the Performance of Food and Beverage MSMEs in Padang City," which examines how financial literacy affects the performance of MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in Padang City.

Meanwhile, Melita Apri Yoma presented a research paper titled "The Role of Perceived Ease of Use on the Consumptive Behavior of Shopeepay Users." This study highlights the influence of perceived ease of use of digital payment applications on users' consumptive behavior.

Laras Puji Astuti also presented a research paper titled "Comparative Analysis of Financial Performance Before and During COVID-19 in the Technology Sectors Listed in IDX," which compared the financial performance of technology sector companies before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The presentations given by these three students captured the attention of conference participants through in-depth analysis, relevant data, and systematic delivery. Their participation in this international scientific forum is a clear testament to the quality and commitment of the Management Study Program in supporting student academic development.
