Universitas Bung Hatta Students Inspire Future Scholars at SMAN 7 Padang Campus Expo

Students from various study programs at Universitas Bung Hatta participated in the Campus Expo initiated by alumni of SMAN 7 Padang on January 21, 2026. The event served as an educational platform for high school students to explore higher education pathways and future academic opportunities. This initiative aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive and equitable access to information about tertiary education.

During the expo, Universitas Bung Hatta students actively introduced the university’s profile, study programs, student activities, and personal development opportunities. They shared first-hand experiences about campus life, academic culture, and career prospects. The interactive discussions provided students with practical insights to help them plan their educational journey.

The enthusiasm of SMAN 7 Padang students was evident through numerous questions about scholarships, student organizations, academic challenges, and graduate employability. The communicative and inspiring atmosphere created meaningful engagement between high school students and university representatives. Such engagement supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration between schools, alumni networks, and higher education institutions.

The Universitas Bung Hatta delegation included representatives from the Accounting Program (Faculty of Economics and Business), Primary School Teacher Education Program (Faculty of Teacher Training and Education), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, and Civil Engineering Program (Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning). The team was accompanied by lecturers from the Accounting Program, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information delivery.

Through this participation, Universitas Bung Hatta reaffirmed its commitment to widening access to higher education and empowering future generations. The activity not only strengthened institutional visibility but also encouraged students to pursue their dream campuses with confidence and clarity.
