Universitas Bung Hatta Signs 2026 Impact Campus Performance Contract with Higher Education Institutions Nationwide

Universitas Bung Hatta reaffirmed its commitment as an impact-driven campus by signing the 2026 Impact Campus Performance Contract alongside hundreds of public (PTN) and private (PTS) universities across Indonesia. The agreement was officially signed by Rector Prof. Diana Kartika and the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, at the Ministry’s Graha Diktisaintek Building on January 5, 2026.

In his remarks, the Minister emphasized the importance of innovation, quality assurance, and strengthening the role of lecturers in nurturing future national talents. He encouraged universities to continuously pursue breakthroughs that respond to societal and global challenges.

Rector Prof. Diana Kartika stated that the performance contract serves as a strategic foundation for Universitas Bung Hatta to further strengthen its role as a “Kampus Berdampak.” She reaffirmed the university’s commitment to ensuring that all tridharma activities—education, research, and community service—generate measurable and meaningful impact for society.

The initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through improved academic standards, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by fostering research and innovation culture, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through national institutional collaboration.

Through this commitment, Universitas Bung Hatta aims to enhance educational quality, reinforce research excellence, and produce graduates who are competent, ethical, and ready to contribute to sustainable national development.
