Universitas Bung Hatta Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of Disaster-Response KKN 2026 in Nagari Anduring
Universitas Bung Hatta carried out Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the Disaster-Response Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) 2026 in Nagari Anduring, Padang Pariaman on February 11, 2026.
The activity was led by Rector Prof. Dr. Diana Kartika to ensure the quality and effectiveness of student community service programs. The initiative aligns with SDG4, SDG 11 and SDG 13 by promoting disaster preparedness and resilience at the local level.
The monitoring team included Dr. Popi Fauziati, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA, Chair of LPPM, Dr. Burmawi, S.T., M.Si., Head of KKN-PPM (T), and two KKN coordinators, Alfiqroam Kumar, S.Pd., M.Pd., AIFO, and Bayu Haryanto, S.T., M.Si. They observed the implementation of student programs in disaster mitigation, risk mapping, and community education.
Rector Prof. Diana Kartika expressed her appreciation for the students’ dedication and impact.
Disaster-Response KKN represents Universitas Bung Hatta’s real commitment to the community. Students’ presence should provide tangible benefits in increasing local preparedness for potential hazards,” she said.
Dr. Popi Fauziati highlighted that Monev ensures each program meets its objectives and maintains high-quality standards.
"The monitoring results will guide improvements for future KKN programs to better meet community needs,” she added.
Dr. Burmawi reported that students have conducted socialization on disaster mitigation, environmental risk mapping, and education activities. The team also engaged directly with Wali Nagari Anduring and the principal of SMP N 2 2x11 Kayutanam to receive feedback. These efforts aim to strengthen collaboration between Universitas Bung Hatta and local government in building resilient communities.
