The Development Economics Study Program Holds Public Lectures and EViews Data Software Training

The Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Bung Hatta University, held a public lecture and training session on the use of the EViews data processing software on Thursday, July 4, 2024. The event was organized by the Development Economics Study Program Student Association and attended by final-year students and students conducting research.

The training featured Dr. Alvis Rozani, S.E.,M.Si, as a resource person. He provided technical explanations and guidance on quantitative data processing in EViews. Through this activity, students were equipped with the skills to analyze statistical data for writing theses and scientific publications.

Furthermore, skills in quantitative data computerization are a crucial competency that can support students in the workforce, especially those pursuing careers as economic analysts or researchers. These skills also enhance graduates' supplementary diploma certificates (SKPI).

This training is expected to enhance students' skills in research methodology and data processing, as well as prepare them to become competent, adaptable, and competitive graduates.
