The Development Economics Study Program FEB Collaborates with 5 Foreign Universities

The Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Bung Hatta, established partnerships with five international universities. The signing ceremony took place at Hotel Adamson, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on 28 October 2024.

The Head of the Development Economics Study Program, Nurul Huda, S.E.,M.Si said that the five partner universities include the University of Sorbonne Paris Nord (France), the University of Petronas, the University of Malaya (Malaysia), the University of Le Havre (France), and Osaka Metropolitan University (Japan).

Nurul Huda , S.E.,M.Si stated that the partnership agreement coincided with the participation of the Development Economics Study Program delegation from FEB Universitas Bung Hatta in the Indonesian Association of Development Economics Study Programs (APSEPI) event, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 29 October to 1 November 2024. The event featured the CCIS Series of International Conferences (ICEBHAS 2024) with the theme 'Complexity of Sustainable Development: Foresight Within Interdisciplinary Studies and Its Extension,' as well as an international community service activity at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuala Lumpur. The event was attended by representatives from both domestic and international universities, including public and private institutions in Indonesia.

The delegation from the Development Economics Study Program, FEB Bung Hatta University consisted of Dr. Alvis Rozani, S.E.,M.Si, Dr. Kasman Karimi, S.E.,M.Si, Nurul Huda, S.E.,M.Si, and student Karina Dian Syaira who also presented a paper entitled “The Testing and Choosing of The Indonesian Balance of Payments Model With Non Tested Test.”

This activity also supports strengthening the implementation of the three pillars of higher education, with the expectation of providing tangible benefits in improving study program outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (IKU), thereby enhancing the quality of graduates in the future.
