PPG Lecturers of FKIP Bung Hatta University Participate in the Leadership Project Theme Setting Meeting

Lecturers from the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Bung Hatta University, took part in an Out-of-Office Meeting (RLK) to determine the Leadership Project theme for the 2024 prospective teacher students. The event took place at ZHM Premier Padang on Thursday, January 30, 2025, and was attended by key academic and administrative representatives, including the Vice Rectors I, II, and III, the Dean and Vice Dean of FKIP, PPG lecturers, mentor teachers (guru pamong), and Learning Management System (LMS) administrative staff.

As the Coordinator of the PPG Program and Dean of FKIP, Dr. Yetty Morelent, M.Hum., explained that the meeting aimed to determine a leadership-based learning theme to be implemented by PPG students during the 2024 program period. The selected theme is expected to foster leadership character grounded in professionalism, innovation, and social responsibility.

The event was officially opened by the Rector of Bung Hatta University, represented by Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Pasymi, M.T. In his remarks, he expressed full support for the educational innovations initiated by the FKIP PPG Program, particularly in strengthening leadership-based competency development. This initiative aligns with the university’s vision to prepare future teachers who are not only academically excellent but also equipped with strong leadership skills to meet the evolving challenges of the education sector.
