FKIP Team Community Service Team Prepares SMAN 1 Mukomuko Students for UTBK

The Community Service Team from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Bung Hatta conducted a Higher Education Awareness and Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) Preparation Program for students of SMA Negeri 1 Mukomuko, Bengkulu Province. The activity took place at the school hall on Friday, 30 May 2025.

The program was attended by all Grade XII students who are preparing for the UTBK examination as part of their admission process to universities in 2026. This initiative reflects Universitas Bung Hatta’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening students’ academic readiness, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through enhanced collaboration between higher education institutions and secondary schools.

Students showed great enthusiasm during the session delivered by the Head of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Rio Rinaldi, who shared effective test-taking strategies and key topic outlines for the Indonesian language section of the UTBK.

Rio Rinaldi noted that the activity was part of an ongoing partnership between the university and the school. "This collaboration has been in place since last year. SMAN 1 Mukomuko is one of our partner schools, formalized through a cooperation agreement,” he said.

Through this outreach program, the UBH PKM team hopes to improve students’ confidence, academic preparedness, and awareness of higher education opportunities
