FEB Lecturer of Universitas Bung Hatta Delivers Cross-Border Collaborative Teaching on Budgeting with UiTM Malaysia

A lecturer from the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Bung Hatta, Dr. Fivi Anggraini, M.Si., Ak., CA, conducted a cross-border Collaborative Teaching session with the Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Selangor, Puncak Alam Campus, Malaysia. The online lecture was held on January 14, 2026, via Google Meet as part of the course Management Accounting and Control (MAF551).

In this session, Dr. Fivi delivered a lecture entitled “Budgeting,” highlighting the strategic role of budgeting in organizational planning and control. The class was facilitated by En. Muhammad Ridzuan Hashim and moderated by En. Mohd Afiq Azero, with strong participation from UiTM students.

Dr. Fivi, who also serves as Vice Rector II for Finance, Assets, and Administration at Universitas Bung Hatta, stated that the initiative reflects the university’s commitment to internationalization and global academic collaboration. She emphasized that such programs enhance learning quality through knowledge exchange and cross-cultural academic engagement.

This collaborative teaching activity contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through inclusive and international learning access, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening global academic partnerships. It also supports innovation in higher education through the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Universitas Bung Hatta and UiTM Malaysia.
