English Literature Study Program Held a Community Service (PKM) at SMA Negeri 13 Padang

On Tuesday, November 19th, the English Literature Study Program held a Community Service (PKM) activity for the Odd Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The lecturers who carried out this Community Service activity included Prof. Dr. Elfiondri, M.Hum (Chair), and members Diana Chitra Hasan, M.Ed., M.Hum., Ph.D., Dr. Yusrita Yanti, S.S., M.Hum., Dra. Nova Rina, M.Hum., Temmy Thamrin, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D., and Femmy Dahlan, S.S., M.Hum. This Community Service (PKM) activity was held at SMA Negeri 13 Padang.

The theme of this Community Service (PKM) was "Comprehension of Everyday Spoken English Based on the Cognitive Skills of Local Speakers." The activity was also attended by students and accompanying teachers at the high school. The PKM activity received a positive response from the school, including the Principal and Vice Principal, and high enthusiasm from the students of SMA Negeri 13 Padang.

The Head of Community Service (PKM), Prof. Elfiondri, stated that this activity can provide a beneficial contribution to students in developing their everyday spoken English skills. Hopefully, this activity will continue to benefit students in their efforts to develop their English skills in the future.
