Clinical Supervision Training for Lecturers and Educational Staff of the PPG Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Bung Hatta

The Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Management Unit of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Bung Hatta organized a Clinical Supervision Training for lecturers, mentor teachers, IT administrators, and educational staff (tendik) involved in the 2025 PPG Program. The event, held in preparation for the Phase II PPG for Specific Teachers 2025, took place at ZHM Premiere, Padang, on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

The workshop was officially opened by Dr. Yetty Morelent, M. Hum., Dean of FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta. In her opening remarks, she emphasized that the training served as both a preparatory and motivational effort to strengthen the capacity and commitment of all parties involved in the PPG program, ensuring the delivery of quality guidance and service to students.

Carrying the theme “Serving with Heart”, the session featured Dr. © Siti Djauharoh, M. Psi., Psychologist, an assessor and trainer at the Akademi Trainer Indonesia, as well as a counselor, coach, and psychotherapist at Corporate Psikologi Indonesia.

As the keynote speaker, Dr. Siti Djauharoh shared insights into emotion modification techniques, strategies for professional competency development, and methods to enhance productivity and performance through a humanistic psychological approach. She emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence and empathy for educators and leaders to become more responsive and effective mentors for PPG students.

Beyond technical skill enhancement, the training also served as a collective reflection on the human values in education, reinforcing the idea that meaningful educational service must be grounded in empathy, mindfulness, and sustainability.
