Expansion of Network and Academic Collaboration of FTSP Universitas Bung Hatta

On January 4, 2024, it was reported that the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) of Universitas Bung Hatta (UBH), Prof. Dr. Ir. Nasfryzal Carlo,M.Sc, had successfully signed a cooperation agreement with 23 Engineering Faculties from various Universities in Indonesia.

This collaboration aims to expand the network and strengthen inter-institutional relations. The signing of the MoU, MoA, and inter-dean cooperation agreements took place during the National Seminar on Engineering, Science, and Technology (SNARSTEK) 2023, which was held at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Tanri Abeng University, on December 9, 2023.

Prof. Carlo was also present as an Invited Speaker and presented a paper titled "IKN: Safety and Sustainability-Based Development". FTSP UBH also submitted 10 collaboration papers by lecturers and students (S1 and S2 Civil Engineering) to be presented at the seminar. Furthermore, Prof. Carlo, along with Dr. Joni Wongso and Dr. Haryani, also acted as Reviewers for the articles presented in SNARSTEK 2023 for selection for publication in accredited national journals.

Organizers and Supporters of SNARSTEK 2023: The SNARSTEK 2023 event was a result of the collaboration of the 23 Engineering Faculties involved in the cooperation agreement, and was supported by various associations such as P3SM, ASTEKINDO, The Association of Indonesian Professional Architects and Building Design Experts (Indonesian Association of Professional Architects and Building Design Experts), PERPAKOM, and PASTALI.
